I inherited this set from my family and was always told they were Colombian emeralds. I recently had them appraised at replacement value $10495. There are some minor nicks on the girdle edges on both rings. They look much better in person and are close to a size 8.25. In the engagement ring the main stone is calculated to 2.71 carats and in the band the emeralds total weight is calculated to 1.26 carats with each stone ranging from 0.27 to 0.35 carats.
